Professor Ravi Kanbur has been appointed as Chair of the WIDER Board

Ravi Kanbur Appointed Chair of the Board of United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (WIDER).
He succeeds Professor Ernest Aryeetey, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana, who served as Chair during 2009-2015.

Prof. Esward Prasad testified before the House Ways and Means Committee

A written testimony summarizing Dr. Prasad’s views on whether a formal clause on currency manipulation and a mechanism for enforcing it should be part of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement.
