Certifying the Minor

Before you graduate, the Economics DUS must certify to the ILR Registrar that you have completed the requirements for the ILR Economics Minor.

When to certify: If you complete all of your Economics Minor courses prior to your last semester at Cornell, then you can apply for certification anytime after those courses are complete.  If you complete some of your Economics Minor courses during your last semester at Cornell, then you should apply for certification during that semester (for such students, we will issue a certification conditional on receiving the necessary grades in any remaining courses).

How to certify: Once you are ready to certify, you should proceed as follows:

(1) Complete our online form by clicking the link below:

Application for Certification of the Economics Minor

(2) Order an electronic copy of your transcript via Student Center.  You can submit your transcript in one of two ways: (i) when you order the transcript, have it sent directly to econdus@cornell.edu; or (ii) when you order your transcript, have it sent to yourself, and then submit the PDF file via Cornell Dropbox (dropbox.cornell.edu) to Sarah Schupp, Undergraduate Experience Coordinator, at  Netid sls499.

Once we have received these materials and certified your Economics Minor, we will send you a confirmation email (please note that we process certifications every 1-2 weeks).
