Course Policies

Economics courses fall into four broad categories:

(i) introductory courses in microeconomics and macroeconomics

(ii) Intermediate courses in microeconomics and macroeconomics

(iii) Courses in statistics and econometrics, and

(iv) advanced economics electives.

In this section, you’ll find information relevant to each of these categories.

In addition, although the ILR Economics Minor requires fewer Economics courses than the A&S Economics Major, you might want to read our Math Recommendations for A&S Economics Majors.
