Professor Francesca Molinari was recently elected a Fellow of the International Association for Applied Econometrics. The aim of the Association is to advance the education of the public in the subject of econometrics and its applications to a variety of fields in economics, in particular, but not exclusively, by advancing and supporting research in that field, and disseminating the results of such useful research to the public. The Association publishes the Journal of Applied Econometrics and hosts an annual conference.

Professor Molinari is the H.T. Warshow and Robert Irving Warshow Professor in the Department of Economics at Cornell University. Her research interests are in econometrics, both theoretical and applied. Most of her theoretical work is in partial identification, while her empirical work is concerned with estimation of risk preferences.
